  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

On vinyl for the first time, this is the only BBC session ever recorded by legendary 1980s indie pioneers Hurrah!, featuring an early version of their fabled second single ‘Hip Hip’ alongside three more bursts of immaculate guitar pop. Comes with a set of postcards – first 250 copies signed by Paul Handyside and Taffy Hughes, who have also provided sleeve notes. Postcards also feature excerpts from the Kitchenware fanzine, the first-ever group photo shoot and a Bleddyn Butcher photo; Bleddyn also did the cover. And download codes, of course.

    Songsheet:
Hip Hip, Saturday's Train, This Boy, Lonely Room

Includes digital pre-order of PRE 016: Hurrah! – David Jensen session 08.12.82. You get 1 track now (streaming via the free Bandcamp app and also available as a high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more), plus the complete album the moment it’s released.

  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

A bargain deal for Precious devotees to pay in one go for all the next four releases: another Hefner (PRE 014), Marine Research (PRE 015), Hurrah! (PRE 016) and This Poison! (PRE 017). Lamacq, Peel, Jensen and Peel respectively.

All of them are in the usual gatefold double seven-inch vinyl format, with download codes (not all at once – on slips of paper inserted into the sleeves), postcards with rare photos etc and sleeve notes from the artists.

There are also likely to be other extras – but you’ll have to wait until they are launched to find out precisely what – but in Hefner’s case, they will include an extra song they played direct into the Lamacq’s Live Lounge on the download, while Paul and Taff from Hurrah! have signed a load of vintage postcards from their first photo shoot. This Poison! is likely to have a postcard sent to the band by John Peel himself.

None of these records will be sent out until they’re all ready – and neither will the individual titles, in case you order them there instead.

The only potential snag owing to these dreadful pressing delays is that This Poison! might not be ready at the same time as the other three, in which case we’ll send out the other three, and then send out TP as soon as it arrives. Either way, you get them all at a cheaper price and costing less for postage. And after this, we’re going ten-inch !
